** MM3EditWin32 Version 1.0 Log **

Release 1.0: 2008-12-30
* Introducing Mega Man 3 Editor, based on FF3usME(R) Technologies(TM)

Known issues with this version:
* Can't edit Wiley level 2 and 4 (maps and enemies), modifying Hallway sizes for
  level 1 and 3 may compromise them (very few tests conducted)
* Wrong graphics with doppleganger boss room, probably due to the above bug
* Wrong graphics with Gemini Man stage starfield, it seems that some code handle
  this in a special way so the planet is not shown off, palette cycling also
  handled differently
* Wrong graphics with Gemini Man stage, where Proto Man clears the path, FYI the
  graphics seem to be part of Snake Man's stage tiles
* Popping blocks data still undecoded, may be incoherent with edited rooms
  (Magnet Man, Wiley 1)
* I did not test room transitions, so it may be broken or missing undecoded data
  still remains (very few tests conducted)
* Palette cycling is a total guess, may become a total mess when changing
  original colours (very few tests conducted)

Known issues from previous versions:
* N.A.

Annoyances:
* Most scrolled views are "scrolled back to the begining" when changes are
  applied (eg Assembly editor), also, focus rectangle not always in-sync
* Mouse position in views not in-sync when using scrolling bar, fixed when
  hovering above view
* Palette cycling timing is too fast or too slow (eg Gemini Man)

** MM3EditWin32 roadmap **

* Edit sprite animation
* Edit sprite frame construction
* Edit enemy palettes, tiles
* Support expanded ROMs
* Currently using Chris Covell's NES palette, make other ones available

** F.A.Q. **

Q. Another Mega Man 3 Editor, why? WHY?
A. The good ones I found are DOS based and hardly cooperative with these days
   MS OSes. The Window based ones are rare and/or in a foreign langage.

Q. This is serious stuff these editors, being registered and trade marketed, heh?
A. Of course not, but it's fun to pretend :)

** Tips **

* Know that some unused tiles may be assigned for another level (eg Doc Robot
  maps)
* Many places you get a palette selection and palette page to just view the
  tiles, not affecting the ROM, know that when the text above the selection has
  "edit" that it will affect gameplay
